To those who's wondering where the hell I've been for the last, er 2 months? Well, I was preparing for my move over to US and etc. Not to bore anyone, here's just a nice recap of what happened on my way to US. 8D (Super long and picture heavy... beware)
3rd June 2009, the day we left Malaysia, hoping everything will the smooth, but no. Someone up there must really hate us for buying cheap tickets to fly over to San Francisco. (Travelocity...) We had some problems checking the luggage (mine was overweight XD) and seating problems with MAS since Travelocity didn't give our seat numbers. Nvm, 30 minutes of hogging the line later, we're ready to go the boarding gate. After we've said our "teary" goodbyes and gave our "manly" hugs, off we went, taking the airbus to the terminal. Surrounded by Japanese, we can't stop looking and pointing at some who looks like 893 (read this in Jap).
So anyway, on the 4th of June (I think), we've arrived at Narita Airport, Tokyo (so not! TIS CHIBA!) at 9.00am. We're suppose to wait till 3pm to take a transit to SF. Since we're so tired, we slept on the bench after walking around for an hour or so. (Actually, me only, since Gi just can't fall asleep no matter what XD).

After lunch, we went around to look for souvenirs for Justin and Ben, since they'll be housing us for a couple of days before our apartment's ready for us. And we bought them this really cute sumo mugs. And for ourselves? Hiyoko (the chick!) and Usagi mochi. They looked really cute on display, but the actual thing...

Around 4pm (yeap, delayed), we finally boarded the plane to SF (United Airline). But, nothing really went our way. After waiting in the plane for them to take off for nearly 2 hours, the flight got canceled cause of some problem with the plane. WTF! I heard it's something to do with one of the toilet, but meh. United Airline then gave us free room and breakfast(FREE JAPAN TRIP!!) at Narita Excel Hotel.
By the time we check in, it's almost 10pm. After bathing and all, we thought we could go to the convenience store near the lobby for some dinner. But, it was closed. With nothing but instant fried onion chicken flavour mamee and the 2 sumo mug, that became our dinner. Thank you Justin for making us bring your mamee for you, or we'd be starving to death. Anyway, the trip turned out pretty nice. The hotel room was great, nice and clean toilet, comfortable bed and REALLY REALLY GOOD BREAKFAST!!! Furthermore, United even upgraded our plane to Northwest. The food they served there is like 100 times better than MAS and the cake actually taste like one. Not bad at all.
Finally on the 6th of June, we've reached SF! And Justin picked us up from the airport, took a bard to Powell Street, carried 3 bags filled with 20kg of stuff with us all the way to Geary Street, where our apartment's located at. The reception lady at the apartment's really helpful but yea, we still didn't get our apartment until 3 days later. :D
After having the greasiest duck rice ever with fork only, we went to Uni to check-in. Later on, around 3 something, Ben came and we took the bart to Ikea at Oakland's side. Jetlag started to kick-in while we were shopping for furniture at Ikea, so I don't know what they really have. All I know is, man, the bed there are really comfy *_*.Around 7pm, the store's closing, so we went to pay for our stuff, and I was so blur, I didn't know the guy didn't count 1 more mattress, so we sorta earned one. When we went to get our stuff delivered, they told us, they don't ship little things that can fit the cart, which is like 1 cart full btw, and they don't at least give us plastic bags for us to carry them. Bah, sitting on the bench, we've finally decided to just hand carry those things with just a string, in case Ben and Justin couldn't contact their friend who has a car. Thank god they did. We just had to wait outside with cold wind blowing at our face for another hour and half before he can reach the place.
But, thanks to him, we finally got our stuff in the end. I guess that covers everything that happened on the first day in SF. :D I'd spam things another time. Till then, cya! Mio-cha, make sure Hanyi doesn't wear my stuff other than the hat ok, he's creeping me out @_@.
Here's some pic of when I first made Bah Kut Teh and Okonomiyaki. Don't worry, I've improved since I took those pics XD Don't believe me, ask Gi or Justin :D

Ps: Forgot to mention, we got Justin and Ben each a Daruma and maneki neko in the end, since we used the cup =p.
